Setting it up

Download the app
Grab the latest Radar.dmg from the release page, open it, and drag Radar into your Applications folder.

Open Radar
Launch it from Applications. Radar lives in your menu bar and starts its local capture engine in the background.
Sign in and connect
Radar opens your browser to sign in, then pairs that machine to your workspace. Approve it and the app takes over from there.
Choose what it reads
Pick the projects worth capturing — Radar imports their existing Claude Code history, then keeps reading new sessions as you work. Everything stays on your machine until you opt a signal in.

Uninstalling

Radar adds capture hooks to your Claude Code settings (~/.claude/settings.json). macOS runs nothing when you drag an app to the Trash, so those entries stay behind. They are written to no-op once Radar is gone, so your sessions keep working either way — but to remove them properly, run:

bash ~/Library/Application\ Support/Radar/hooks/claude-code/uninstall.sh

It only touches entries Radar added, backs up your settings first, and leaves your captured data alone. Add --dry-run to see what it would remove. Then drag Radar to the Trash.

If macOS says Radar “is damaged and can’t be opened”

It is not damaged. This build is not yet signed with an Apple Developer ID, and that is the warning macOS shows for any unsigned download. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the note about Radar, and choose Open Anyway. You only do this once.
